88 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine ARTS, MEDIA AND ENTERTAINMENT Brad Alan LaMar leverages 25 years of practiced expertise as an accomplished author and educator. Chief among his professional pursuits, he has excelled as a published author at Torchflame Books since 2013 and at Page Publishing since 2021. His first book, titled “The Obsidian Dagger,” was released in 2013, thus beginning his Celtic Mythos series of novels. Mr. LaMar subsequently released “The Megalith Union” in 2013, “The Dominion Pulse” in 2015, and “The Bloodline Inheritance” in 2016, all of which were published by Torchflame Books. His most recent work, “Angler Island,” was published in 2021 by Page Publishing. Adjacent to his creative endeavors, Mr. LaMar has also served as an educator in his community since 1999. While he has primarily taught seventh and eighth-grade science, he has otherwise taught at every grade level throughout his time in the field. To this end, he was a master teacher for eight years. Furthermore, Mr. LaMar served as an instructor at his local Drive Zone driving school from 2006 to 2018. As part of his vocational journey, Mr. LaMar cultivated his own higher education as well, initially attending Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis and earning a Bachelor of Science in elementary education, with a minor in science and driver’s education, in 1999. He continued his studies at the institution and achieved a Master of Science in educational technology in 2005. In addition to his academic credentials, Mr. Lamar is a certified instructor and trainer. Mr. LaMar has always found the act of teaching to be highly gratifying, and he was inspired to become an author after sharing a story with his students. In light of his fulfilling career, he has largely attributed his success to his determination, as well as his commitment to continually learning new information. As such, in accounting for his accomplishments, he regards publishing his first book as one of his career highlights.
