While at Guardian Building Products, Mr. Langford and his twin brother, Barrett, created Moody Blue Designs Inc., a custom automobile vinyl wrap design and install business. Since 2016, he has served as the president, chief executive officer, designer, and wrap installer for the company, with the shop managed by his brother. Raised by a family of entrepreneurs, the brothers launched Moody Blue Designs to gain freedom from their corporate jobs and express themselves creatively, designing custom truck stickers in their spare time and selling them online. After several years, they began making more money from their side business than their primary means of employment and were able to devote more time to Moody Blue Designs, building it into the successful business it is today. Looking ahead, Mr. Langford hopes to expand the shop, aiming to install larger bays with space for larger vehicles, two additional tractortrailers, tall trucks, motor homes, and buses. He plans to hire a lead production professional to decrease his workload and allow him to focus more on designing and installing as the company grows to a national scale.
