Prior to her current appointment, she completed her residency in internal medicine at the Cleveland Clinic between 2020 and 2023. Dr. Rikabi also maintains her affiliation with several pertinent organizations, including the General Medical Council in the United Kingdom and the American College of Physicians. She is also a keen supporter of Doctors Without Borders. As part of her vocational journey, Dr. Rikabi achieved an MD at Damascus University and subsequently volunteered as a research assistant at the University of Oxford. She also excelled during her training as a physician at King’s College Hospital in London, United Kingdom, and she pursued general practice training in West London, which further enriched her experience before venturing to the U.S. Well-regarded for her scholarly output as well, Dr. Rikabi was the primary author of a recent paper published by the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, titled “Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy Triggered by Emotional Stress From the Russia-Ukraine War.” As a volunteer, she publishes medical articles in Arabic on multiple platforms, such as majarra.com, a network of reliable, high-quality online content. Over the course of her career, Dr. Rikabi has attributed much of her success to her passion for her profession. In accounting for her achievements, she is most proud to have come to the U.S. and completed her residency training. In the coming years, Dr. Rikabi hopes to continue her work in the field while also raising a family. Dr. Sarah Rikabi is a Syrian-British rising leader in the health care industry, drawing upon over a decade of professional experience in internal medicine.
