She advises others interested in the field to find a sustainable worklife balance and prioritize wellness in all areas of their lives. Jessica C. Ashley is a mental health counselor and the founder and chief executive officer of JC & Ashley Counseling LLC. Building on more than 15 years of experience in community mental health and private practice, she established her organization to provide high-quality mental and behavioral health care to adult and teenage patients. As part of her work in the field, she specializes in providing crisis services, including treating clients experiencing suicidal ideation and acute psychiatric conditions, and she works with patients in need throughout the community to de-escalate and create effective care plans. Driven by a desire to help others and a natural talent for creating connections, Ms. Ashley earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology from North Carolina Wesleyan University. Additionally, in 2013, she achieved a Master of Arts in human services, with a concentration in marriage and family therapy, at Liberty University.
