411 Millennium - Seventeenth Edition FINANCE AND INSURANCE Having distinguished himself in the field of finance through his sustained business operations spanning over three decades and his commitment to transparency on behalf of his clients, Thomas Munster has found success as the managing director of Profor Advisors since 2018. An accomplished advisor with deep knowledge across all instruments of finance, he specializes in broadening the exposure of any management company with which he engages. In addition to helping managers develop their distribution networks both digitally and through direct contact, Mr. Munster remains in close contact with compliance officers of different firms in order to ensure that all transactions proceed smoothly. His area of expertise largely resides in the development of option-based exchange-traded funds, as well as selling hedge funds and equities. Prior to his current efforts, Mr. Munster worked for more than 10 years as a navigator for oil tankers and other seafaring vessels. Following this period, he served as a retail financial advisor at PaineWebber & Co, an American investment bank and stock brokerage firm, from 1993 to 1997. In this capacity, he raised more than $60 million in capital retail. He then went on to join the Clinton Group, a mortgage hedge fund, where he remained active in various roles between 1997 and 2018. During this time, Mr. Munster also worked as a managing director of Metacapital Management LP from 2009 to 2012. Well-qualified in his field, Mr. Munster initially earned a BS in marketing and distribution in 1983. Among his most cherished accomplishments, he is particularly proud to have cultivated a reputation of honesty and passion. He credits much of his success to his tenacity, ability to network and penchant for being in the right place at the right time.
