Since 2017, he has excelled as an engineering consultant for Sensia and Schlumberger Limited. Prior to his current appointments, he operated as a senior systems engineer for Honeybee Robotics for 12 years. Mr. Hedlund boasts extensive expertise in mechanism design, as well as software development, with particular skills in robotics and automation. Born in England and raised in Cyprus, Mr. Hedlund later moved to the United States and attended the City University of New York, where he achieved a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. Today, he attributes his success to his determination, as well as the love and support of his parents. He is abundantly proud to have designed and built a prototype brush for scientists to use while examining rock specimens; a subsequent model was later installed on the Mars Science Laboratory rover. Mr. Hedlund has also made significant contributions to the development of autonomous directional drilling for the energy sector. ENGINEERING CONSULTANT Sensia, Schlumberger Limited Spring, TX Kongkeo Khamvongsa leverages 15 years of experience as a seasoned expert in the field of engineering. Specializing in electronics and communications technology, he has served as a quality engineer at Collins Aerospace in Wisconsin since 2015. As part of his duties, he focuses on ensuring adherence to regulatory benchmarks in his industry, in addition to managing audit processes and testing new pieces of technology. At the onset of his career, Mr. Khamvongsa worked as an engineering technician for Criticare Technologies Inc. from 2008 to 2011. Prior to beginning his career, he cultivated his higher education, attending ITT Technical Institute and achieving a bachelor’s degree in electronic communication and engineering technology in 2008. Mr. Khamvongsa also honorably served in the United States Air Force as an airman first class from 1999 to 2004. Attributing much of his success in the field to his diligent work ethic and the transformative journey of his military service, he is particularly proud to have attained and maintained AS9100 certifications for B/E Aerospace Lighting & Integrated Systems.
