As a student at Arizona State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in communication and media studies, Ms. Neill began her career in marketing and social media at Morning Squeeze, a chain of modern brunch restaurants. After joining the company as a server and bartender, she worked her way up to a management position and began taking on additional marketing and design responsibilities. Since 2019, Ms. Neill has been the company’s director of marketing and business development, overseeing its social media accounts, print marketing campaigns, and the creation of photo and graphic design content for menus, signage and other store fixtures. Ms. Neill finds success in creating opportunities and moments of joy for others. To wit, she actively develops Morning Squeeze’s volunteer and philanthropy programs, in addition to working with Purple Heart, a nonprofit organization benefiting disabled veterans and their families, and several animal welfare charities. She is also proud to have overseen the opening of two new locations and to have played a pivotal role in Morning Squeeze’s expansion over the past five years by forging significant business and community partnerships. As an up-and-coming name in social media management and marketing strategy, Ms. Neill has been featured in media outlets including Canvas Rebel, Voyage, and Phoenix Magazine, and she was presented with the Marketing 2.0 2021 Outstanding Leadership Award. In addition to her digital marketing and print design work for Morning Squeeze and Socially Shea, she is a chalkboard and sign lettering artist working independently as Boards by Shea; she hopes to expand her clientele for both businesses in the coming years.
