Established in 2012 and leveraging a wealth of experience in all drilling fluid methods, Momentum focuses on the key principles of communication, data analysis and efficiency in its day-to-day operations. A noted expert in operations management, Mr. Yalowica maintains responsibility for client outreach, staff administration, and interaction with on-site engineers. Mr. Yalowica initially embarked upon his career in the drilling fluids industry at Reef Mud, a Canadian company, where he advanced from a laborer to a warehouse manager and supervisor between 1994 and 1998. Having gained experience with bulk systems, he was hired by Haliburton in 2000 and, shortly thereafter, transitioned to technical sales as a senior account representative. In 2006, Mr. Yalowica started working for Altera Energy Services to help establish operations in the United States, working tirelessly in this capacity; through a series of mergers and acquisitions, the company became Secure Energy Services. In 2012, Mr. Yalowica left Secure and realized his dreams of entrepreneurship, founding Momentum Drilling Fluids in September of the same year. Despite facing three challenging downturns, he has demonstrated remarkable capability and common sense in financing his company, which allowed him to avoid laying off any of his employees. Mr. Yalowica values family greatly, and he considers his employees an extension of his family, thus ensuring they are all well taken care of. To remain aware of developments affecting his industry, Mr. Yalowica maintains his affiliation with the American Association of Drilling Engineers and the Society of Petroleum Engineers. Outside of his professional endeavors, he actively works with various charities and contributes to the local community by organizing golf tournaments and participating in industry events. Looking to the future, Mr. Yalowica aims to maintain a steady and reasonable pace of growth.
