446 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine GOVERNMENT AND MILITARY Lt. Col. Thomas A. Bialkowski is characterized by his dedicated service to his country, both in uniform in the United States Army Reserve for over two decades, and as a civilian technical writer and editor for the U.S. Army DEVCOM, a military research and manufacturing facility located in Morris County, New Jersey. To wit, he recently marked his 25th year of government service. Noted for his variety of technical and administrative skills, in addition to his comprehensive knowledge of the U.S. Army, Mr. Bialkowski has performed a variety of writing, editing and research duties at numerous locations since 1997. Much of his work relates to the preparation of armament and electronic systems publications. He currently performs these duties for the DEVCOM system support branch at the Picatinny Arsenal. In conjunction with his writing career, Mr. Bialkowski previously served as a member of the United States Air Force from 1978 until his retirement in 2015. During this time, his duties allowed him to travel throughout the United States and maintain various roles and duties. He ultimately advanced to the rank of lieutenant colonel. Amongst his many accomplishments, he submitted two military history papers to the Center of Military History, and he achieved a master’s degree in international relations at Webster University in 2012. Additionally, he received a certificate in homeland security from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey in 2013. Mr. Bialkowski came of age watching old World War II films, and his membership in the armed forces grew from that source of inspiration. Throughout his multifaceted career, he has credited much of his success to his late wife, Kim, and his family, whose love and support laid the foundation needed to weather the challenges of his military service. Looking to the future, as a well-read individual, Mr. Bialkowski aspires to serve as an internet literary contributor. He is also exploring a post-retirement career in publishing works of nonfiction. Currently, he is researching a collection of historical episodes, which span the 19th and 20th centuries. THOMAS A.
