Mr. Greene initially attended the University of Vermont, where he attained a BS in consumer studies in 1994. More than 15 years later, he earned a MEd in counseling psychology at Cambridge College in 2010. Long dedicated to civic advocacy as well, Mr. Greene serves as a member of a state committee that seeks to combat human trafficking. Having experienced firsthand the trauma of numerous clients who have been trafficked, he remains committed to working toward solutions that prevent such horrors from affecting others. Looking toward the future, Mr. Greene aspires to secure a role at the Department of Children and Families’ human trafficking unit and to continue availing himself on behalf of others. Well-regarded for his ability to help others achieve their goals, Heath Richard Greene has distinguished himself as a program director at Noank Community Support Services. The nonprofit organization seeks to provide behavioral health services and support to the most vulnerable people in the community of Noank, a village in the town of Groton, Connecticut. Specializing in program development and quality assurance, Mr. Greene manages a program that works with adolescent girls under the oversight of the Department of Children and Families (DCF), working to ensure that operations proceed smoothly and on budget. He also collaborates with his clinical director to identify the treatment needs of residents under the program’s care and serves as a point of contact for individual support organizations, including the DCF. Leveraging over two decades of prior experience, Mr. Greene previously worked for several years at Community Solutions Inc. (CSI).
