In her roles, Ms. Rodriguez engages with patients in educational support, community outreach and behavioral health services. Specializing in working with at-risk populations, who often lack access to care, Ms. Rodriguez ultimately seeks to leave a positive mark on the world. She is largely inspired by her parents, who traveled with her to various countries as part of their work with non-governmental organizations, nonprofits and religious groups. Today, she continues their selfless efforts by partnering with local groups to provide direct aid, funding, education or donations for at-risk populations. As an extension of her charitable endeavors, Ms. Rodriguez established Cajitas De Amor (Boxes of Love) as a nonprofit foundation in 2022. Ms. Rodriguez previously studied at Grand Canyon University, where she earned a BS and an MS in professional counseling in 2013. She also maintains professional memberships with the American School Counselor Association, the National Latinx Psychological Association, the National Association for Search and Rescue, and the American Counseling Association. Ms. Rodriguez’s community accolades include the Segal AmeriCorps Education Award and two community recognitions with the Arizona Attorney General’s office and the Phoenix Police Department. Among her accomplishments, she is particularly proud of her efforts in helping her very first patient, who went on to develop a fulfilling life and career. Ms. Rodriguez credits her success to her faith, personal discipline, and the sacrifices her family made. In dedication to her family, she says, “Mamá y papá, gracias por toda su atención. Para mi esposo Cristian, eres la razón por la cual sigo en la lucha. Y para mis hermanos, gracias por sus motivaciones.” Drawing motivation from a longstanding commitment to community service, Suzann E. Rodriguez, CSC, MSPC, has found success with several organizations since 2013. She currently provides behavioral health services to children and families through close collaboration with various organizations, including schools, houses of worship, and police and fire departments.
