792 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine TECHNOLOGY An expert in the fields of cryptography and computer science, Dr. Moti Yung is distinguished for his longstanding tenure with Google, with whom he has served as a research scientist in New York since 2007. Exceptionally proud of his holistic work in information security and privacy, he has been working on the foundations of cryptography since the early 1990s, through which he has designed efficient systems for Google and other related companies. Earlier in his career, Dr. Yung served as a security and privacy scientist for Snap Inc., a technical director for RSA Labs, the vice president and chief scientist for Certco LLC, and a researcher with IBM. To prepare for his career, Dr. Yung pursued higher education, culminating in his receipt of a PhD in computer science from Columbia University in 1988. For his achievements, he was inducted into the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2023, having previously earned the W.W. McDowell Award and the ENIAC Computer Pioneer Award from the IEEE Computer Society in 2017 and 2021, respectively.
