As the chief compliance officer of SEKO Logistics, Ms. Landis is responsible for ensuring that companies comply with the regulations from Customs and Border Protection, the Department of State and the Department of Commerce. Prior to her position at SEKO Logistics, Ms. Landis served as the senior manager of global transportation at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics and the manager of Lockheed Martin’s F-35 integration team. Additionally, she served as the senior manager of global trade for PolyOne and the global trade compliance manager for the Tesco Corporation. She remains abreast of changes in her industry through memberships in the National Association for Small Business International Trade Education, where she is a board member, as well as the Air Forwarders Association’s regulatory compliance committee. In 2018, she founded the Dallas-Fort Worth ICPA DATA Group, where she continues to serve as the head of the organization. An accomplished speaker and writer, Ms. Landis has frequently shared her expertise at conferences and in professional articles. While at Lockheed Martin, she won the Take a Bow Award and the Spotlight Award for exemplary service to the company. As a leader in her industry, Ms. Landis takes pride in the membership roles she has played over the years, and in the future, she plans to develop a comprehensive trade compliance curriculum for universities. Striving to build a degree program in trade compliance from the ground up, she hopes to offer further mentorship opportunities to young professionals.
