CAIN Lissett B. Cain is a project manager who has found nearly 20 years of success in diverse roles in the medical device industry. A graduate of Kettering University, she holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering and was awarded a master’s degree in engineering management in 2014. She began working in the medical device industry in the early 2000s as an engineer for Zimmer Biomet, where she would remain for the next 13 years. Ms. Cain trained in sales and manufacturing engineering at Zimmer Biomet before becoming program manager for the company’s bone cement, polyethylene, and technologies programs in 2014 and a senior sourcing engineer the following year. She spent four years as a project manager for the company before accepting her current role as a staff project manager of robotics and digital surgery at DePuy Synthes in 2021, overseeing the department’s expansion into 30 countries. In the coming years, she plans to continue to grow the robotics division with the goal of managing a portfolio of several projects, including hips, knee, and shoulder procedures. For nearly 25 years, Christopher J. Fromm has demonstrated excellence in the fields of clinical research and entrepreneurship. While attending the University of California Los Angeles, he began his career as a research assistant at the David Geffen School of Medicine. After graduating in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in psychobiology, Mr. Fromm joined Chiltern International as a junior clinical research associate. He went on to work in various capacities at Amgen Inc., INC Research and Novartis via Aerotek. Since 2014, Mr. Fromm has served as the president of Caritas Clinical, a pharmaceutical consulting company. In 2020, he also became the president of C-Clinical, a company that specializes in clinical research management, monitoring and administration. Mr. Fromm continues to hold both positions. He maintains membership in the Association of Clinical Research Professionals and works with nonprofit and civic organizations, including Iaomai Medical Ministries, Unity 4 Orphans and La Jolla Christian Fellowship. In the coming years, Mr. Fromm intends to establish an excellent and comfortable working environment for the employees of Caritas Clinical and C-Clinical.
