When electronic publishing first emerged, she was working at The Society for Scholarly Publishing as an administrative officer, educating herself on new developments in the fledgling industry. After her husband’s passing in 2001, Ms. Randall stepped back from the medical marijuana movement and pursued a nursing degree.
