Before entering the wellness and recovery industry, Mr. Taite studied at the University of California, Los Angeles and Santa Monica College. In 2004, he founded Cliffside Malibu, a boutique luxury rehab, where he remained active as the chief executive officer until 2018; this work helped establish him as one of the top names in high-end inpatient substance abuse disorder treatment industry. After successfully selling the business, he continued to innovate in the luxury behavioral health space. Throughout his career, Mr. Taite’s centers have helped more than 10,000 patients accomplish their treatment goals. Alongside his work with Carrara Treatment Wellness & Spa, Mr. Taite acquired and currently serves as the executive chair of 1 Method Treatment Center since 2024. Furthermore, he has appeared as a subject matter expert on numerous news networks, talk shows, recovery podcasts, documentaries, and media projects. He has also notably contributed to a book, “Ending Addiction for Good.” In light of his fulfilling career, Mr. Taite credits his success to the supportive workplace culture he has cultivated and the contributions of the chief of staff and chief executive officer of Carrara Treatment Wellness & Spa.
