As the executive director at the Spero Recovery Center, he manages the company’s comprehensive programs and oversees all operations. This includes the clinical and behavioral staff, programming, case management, the design and implementation of curriculum, intensive outpatient care, and administrative and operational tasks. Mr. Ferrero earned a BA in political science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. After working on a presidential campaign in 1984, he pivoted from politics to education and became an adjunct professor. A severe struggle with addiction led to an intervention by friends and family, which resulted in his treatment experience at Hazelden in Minnesota in 1993. Mr. Ferrero has been in long-term recovery dating back to that lifechanging experience and has devoted himself to behavioral and mental health treatment since 1996. Returning to school, he earned an MA in addictions counseling at The Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School in 2006. He is well-regarded for his dedication to the field and for instilling hope in clients and families impacted by substance use disorders. The Rev. John Alfred Quann Sr. is humbled to celebrate over 35 years of service in ministry. During this time, he spent 10 years in the United States Army and another 10 in the United States Air Force. Inspired by a desire to benefit humanity, he became a preacher and spiritual advisor to help others work through various life issues. Mr. Quann is a certified notary for the state of Delaware. Additionally, he received a bachelor’s degree in urban ministry and management at Geneva College. As part of his creative pursuits, he is a published author, having written his 2022 book, “You Are So Wise, Yet So Foolish: The Secret Wisdom is Knowing God: 1 Corinthians 2: 7.” His second book, “In the Mist of Adversity: Be Strong & of a Good Courage: Joshua 1:9,” will be released soon. Today, Mr. Quann primarily operates as the founder and chief executive officer of Emmanuel Missions and Ministries for Humanity of God Vineyard.
