300 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine HEALTH AND WELLNESS Dr. Michael Emerson Deitz began his education at William & Mary, earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology and kinesiology and a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling. He went on to obtain a PhD in counselor education from Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Deitz serves as a licensed professional counselor and assistant clinical director at Healthy Minds Therapy. He conducts regular individual, couples, family and group therapy sessions for approximately 30 patients a week across a range of ages and mental health needs. Prior to his career as a counselor, he spent 20 years as a gymnast. In addition to his work at Health Minds Therapy, Dr. Deitz contributes as an adjunct professor at Virginia Commonwealth University and William & Mary, teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses and supervising practicum students at their internship sites. Moving forward, Dr. Deitz hopes to make mental health care accessible to all. He plans to eventually work within community settings so that he can reach more people, especially those in underprivileged populations with a high-level stigma concerning mental health therapy. ASSISTANT CLINICAL DIRECTOR Healthy Minds Therapy PLLC Stafford, VA Dr. Bruno Ela Ondo is a primary care physician currently based in Quebec. Originally from Cameroon, he attended medical school in France, earning an MD at the Aix-Marseille-II medical school. After completing an MPH in epidemiology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City, he returned to Cameroon to teach epidemiology, biostatistics and community health for four years at the Université des Montagnes. In 2019, he moved back to France and worked as a physician before relocating to Quebec in 2023. In France, Dr. Ela Ondo was a doctor at various health care facilities, including the Emile Roux Hospital Center and the emergency room of the University Hospital Center La Timone in Marseille. In Quebec, he now practices as a family physician and holds a position as a clinical staff member at McGill University School of Medicine. In light of his fulfilling career, he is proud to have achieved his medical degree, particularly due to the challenges of leaving Africa for France. He also aims to publish his first book, having already published his scholarly works in several medical journals.
