In this capacity, he conducts reviews of bankruptcies, with a focus on identifying assets to determine the veracity of their financial condition at the time of bankruptcy filing. After achieving academic and vocational success in law school, he subsequently joined the global firm of Hunton & Williams LLP in New York City. During his time with the firm, Mr. Johnston represented buyers and sellers in mergers and acquisitions. After leaving the firm in 2009, he joined Americorps and taught first grade students before becoming a partner at Balcomb & Green PC. In 2021, Mr. Johnston and his partners formed JVAM PLLC, which merged with another large and well-established firm. As a result of this growth, JVAM expanded its presence and attracted additional talent to its team. Over the coming years, Mr. Johnston plans to expand JVAM further, focusing on upholding its core values. He envisions the business evolving into a leading global law firm known for integrity and a positive work culture.
