Prior to his current role as the principal of SLOFLT Group LLC, he spent 27 years as a captain and naval aviator in the U.S. Navy and nearly 30 years as an executive at Raytheon Company. As Raytheon’s vice president of business development, Dr. Wilson served as a program integrator, facilitating the merger of the organization’s three businesses, which included Texas Instruments and the Hughes Aircraft Company. To ensure the merged entities met their customers’ information demands, he oversaw the company’s field offices. In light of his efforts, the business flourished during and after the merger. Dr. Wilson takes pride in his work with Raytheon, where he expanded the company’s tactical missile business and safeguarded its position as a robust defense contracting enterprise. Having honorably served for nearly three decades in the U.S. Navy, he found fulfillment through his involvement in defense work. Throughout his extensive tenure at Raytheon, he remained adamantly committed to the company’s paramount mission of helping to end wars. Upon completing a DM in organizational leadership at the University of Phoenix in 2010, Dr. Wilson retired from Raytheon. In addition to his doctorate, he also holds a BS in mathematics from Marietta College and an MBA in management from Golden Gate University. Following his retirement, Dr. Wilson established SLOFLT Group, a leadership and coaching firm, where he provides professional teams with the tools they require to succeed in their respective fields.
