368 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine SCIENCES, PHARMACEUTICALS AND BIOTECHNOLOGY Kenneth E. Osborn is a scientist, educator and photographer who has spent more than ten years focused on his work as the chair of the Berkeley Camera Club and club liaison to Berkeley Community Media. He has excelled as an independent photographer working under the name Misterken Photography since 2010, with clients including San Francisco’s Alonzo King LINES Ballet. Alongside his artistic capabilities, Mr. Osborn is well-regarded for his expertise in method detection limits, and he has written protocols and educational modules for various quality control and laboratory operations. Before turning his focus to the arts, Mr. Osborn enjoyed a long career as a laboratory scientist and researcher. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry from California State University Sacramento. He began graduatelevel coursework in biochemistry and biophysics at the University of California, Davis before ultimately earning a Master of Science in limnology and completing a teaching credential. He spent four years teaching at the high school level and became a research associate of the Tahoe Research Group in 1973. In 1977, Mr. Osborn joined the East Bay Municipal Utility District Laboratory as a supervising chemist. In 1990, he rose to become a quality assurance officer for the district, a position he would hold until 2010. During this time, he maintained several other industry leadership positions, including nearly 20 years as the chair of standard methods for the examination of water and wastewater for the American Public Health Association and American Water Works Association. Likewise, he operated on the editorial board for the journal of the Water Environment Federation, Laboratory Solutions, for 23 years. In addition to his industry work, Mr. Osborn has also held a leadership role with the Bay Area Entrepreneurs in Statistics. KENNETH E.
