373 Millennium - Eighteenth Edition SCIENCES, PHARMACEUTICALS AND BIOTECHNOLOGY Over 17 years, Mallori R. Robinson has poured hard work and dedication into her career as a researcher in the health care industry. She began her education at Old Dominion University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in health sciences in 2006. As a mid-career professional, she continued her education at Kaplan University, earning a Master of Science in Management in project management in 2012. Ms. Robinson began her career as a clinical project assistant for Abraxis BioScience LLC. In 2009, she joined Quintiles Transnational as a senior clinical trials assistant, rising to senior clinical project coordinator in 2011 and clinical research associate in 2012. In 2014, she left the company for a senior clinical research associate position at UBC, where she would spend the next four years. She continued as a senior clinical research associate at IQVIA for another two years before joining the oncology department of Precision for Medicine in 2019. Reflecting on her career, Ms. Robinson considers her most notable achievement to be her contributions to oncology research and the impact that her work has had on patient quality of life and treatment effectiveness. While full remission is not always possible, she is proud that her efforts have helped extend the lives of those affected by cancer and related conditions. As an experienced laboratory scientist and leader, Ms. Robinson is contemplating a transition from conducting clinical trials to serving as a clinical research associate line manager. She currently holds a clinical research associate certification from the Association of Clinical Research Professionals. In the coming years, she plans to pursue a clinical research professional certification to broaden her industry knowledge and hopes to participate in and supervise associates in a wide range of projects.
