106 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine Joe C. Farr III facilitates the success of future business professionals as an admissions counselor and instructor. While earning a bachelor’s degree in economics at Duke University, he was a manager for the school’s men’s basketball team. After interning at the ACC, he joined ESPN’s programming department, providing strategy for properties including college football and college basketball. At ESPN, he ran Black History Month programming and produced a roundtable discussion show featuring athletes, coaches, social activists, and dignitaries discussing race and sports, winning a NAMIC Vision Award. Mr. Farr attended the Yale School of Management to pursue an MBA in marketing and leadership. After graduating, he started his own production company, Trey Mojo Productions LLC, where he serves as an executive producer. Additionally, he has worked with Stratus Admissions Counseling since 2022 as an MBA admissions counselor and with Sylvan Learning since 2015 as an instructor. In the coming years, Mr. Farr hopes to complete a book on Willie Jeffries, the first Black head coach of an NCAA Division I-A football team. He also intends to continue working in admissions counseling and teaching while discovering future opportunities. ADMISSIONS COUNSELOR Stratus Admissions Counseling Van Nuys, CA As a public relations professional, Sarah Flocken has built a solid career and reputation through her work with individuals, companies and charitable initiatives. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and comparative literary studies from Occidental College and a Master of Science in literature and modernity from The University of Edinburgh. After many years working in communications for companies such as the United States Travel Association, Atlantic Media and the Center for Responsive Politics, Ms. Flocken founded SLH Communications in 2018. SLH stands for “Sound Like a Human,” which she aims to help all her clients do. In her leadership role, she provides public relations services focused on building relationships with media outlets and influencers. Ms. Flocken also works with government relations teams to create advocacy campaigns, prepare for meetings with congressional representatives and draft briefs. Ms. Flocken has set her sights on continuing her business development in the coming years. She aims to promote the human aspect of communications and public relations and is determined to strike a balance between artificial intelligence and the human touch essential to public relations.
