Dr. Thomas John Karvosky is a clinically oriented pharmacist with extensive experience in various settings, including dispensaries, long-term care facilities, retail environments and hospitals. In 2012, he founded Apothecary Consulting Services LLC, where he serves as a consultant dispensary pharmacist. In his practice, Dr. Karvosky assesses patient needs, provides counsel and recommends appropriate therapies. Alongside his consulting work, he offers vital services to the long-term care industry, which encompass chart reviews, medication management, and compliance with federal and state regulations. Dr. Karvosky earned a BS in pharmacy at Northeastern University. His career then began at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, an experience that inspired him to harness his diverse skill set to advance his professional journey. He later returned to academia to obtain a PharmD at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. In 2015, when Connecticut legalized medical marijuana, Dr. Karvosky became the 35th pharmacist in the nation licensed to participate in the state’s program.
