185 Millennium - Eighteenth Edition ENTREPRENEURS Brian Flis is an accomplished business leader and entrepreneur with global experience in operations, finance, quality, human resources, engineering, supply chain, program management, product management and consulting. He cofounded LF Bioenergy in 2020, establishing it as a trailblazer in renewable energy. Concerned with their environmental impact, the company collaborates with farmers to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, fostering a sustainable future. Prior to co-founding LF Bioenergy, Mr. Flis worked in oil and gas consulting and successfully launched Lavister in 2018. Lavister specializes in empowering energy, chemical and services companies to achieve peak operational performance through a harmonious fusion of people, processes and data, culminating in many transformative insights. He subsequently became involved in the oil and gas industry in 2010 while working with Wilson Perumal & Company. In light of Mr. Flis’ exemplary performance in the field, Endeavor Management reached out and recruited him, allowing him to develop a newfound confidence in his abilities. This inspired him to take a leap of faith and establish his own consulting company, driven by a sincere belief in his potential to make a meaningful difference independently. Mr. Flis developed strong individual and team leadership abilities during more than 20 years of military and private sector service. He began his academic studies while in the United States Air Force, attending the Air Force Academy and receiving a BS in mechanical engineering in 2000. Continuing his education, he earned an MS in mechanical engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA in finance at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. In the coming years, Mr. Flis aims to continue exploring the growth potential of LF Bioenergy. As the chief executive officer, he plans to drive the company to unprecedented heights.
