198 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine ENTREPRENEURS Shawn R. Hailey has been a leader in industrial safety services for more than 13 years. His dedication to the field was driven by his early experience of losing his father to a workplace accident, and he has spent his career developing measures to prevent such accidents in the future. Mr. Hailey received a bachelor’s degree in multidisciplinary studies from McMurry University in 2008, followed by a Master of Education from Hardin-Simmons University in 2011. He began his career as the safety director and vice president of damage prevention at Texas Pipeline Construction. In 2013, he founded LineQuest LLC, a full-service damage prevention company. Mr. Hailey served as the company’s president until 2022 when he became chief executive officer. He is also the owner and operator of Broken Spoke Farm, a horse farm based in Texas. One of Mr. Hailey’s proudest accomplishments is his ability to balance successful business growth while creating a positive impact on client operations. He looks forward to continuing to expand LineQuest’s reach and market share by driving growth and increasing awareness of damage prevention. Holding a bachelor’s degree in French from The Ohio State University and an MA in linguistics from Columbia University, she taught technical writing for 40 years. To wit, she served as a senior lecturer at Johns Hopkins University, an adjunct professor at the University of Maryland Global Campus, and a lecturer at the University of Maryland. Ms. Inukai has also consulted with multiple United States government organizations, including the Department of Agriculture, the Department of Transportation, and the Food and Drug Administration. In her current position, Ms. Inukai’s mission is to serve as a voice for older individuals and change the way they are viewed. To encourage others to embrace their potential, she delivered a TEDx talk on starting a business in retirement. She hopes to serve as an example for others, managing two businesses she started when she was 70 years old — Grandmapreneur and Tip and Split Solutions LLC. The latter organization is the parent company of her invention, the Tip ‘n Split, a handheld device that can calculate tips and split restaurant bills in seconds.
