Prior to entering the insurance industry, he developed his business and leadership acumen as a sales representative specializing in industrial equipment. Driven by a desire to explore other opportunities and continue to develop professionally, he relocated to California, where he began his insurance career working for Enterprise Rent-A-Car. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Indiana Institute of Technology. In 2022, Mr. Brown and his business partner created New Reign Capital, a private equity firm serving the commercial insurance space. He has been named one of the Top 10 Most Inspiring People in Insurance by CIO Views and 35 Under 35 by RISE Professionals and is the subject of a feature article in Risk & Insurance Magazine. To promote New Reign Capital and his independent services, Mr. Brown wrote “Voice of the Future: Zach Brown” for RISE Professionals in 2023. Before establishing the firm, he served as the chief executive officer of Modern Reign Insurance Brokers and as a partner at Orion Risk Management. Moving forward, Mr. Brown and his company are launching a 15 million dollar fund for the commercial insurance sector which is estimated to last for 10 years. He envisions his company becoming the first choice for clients interested in savings plans, enhancing business efficiency and empowering employees to pursue excellence. As the company expands, he hopes to guide its transition from the prospecting phase into a resource phase, enabling swift and expansive support for a broader clientele.
