Ms. Patel began her career as a business analyst for AT&T Wireless, moving to become an analyst at Precision Response Corporation in 2000 and a database marketing manager at Verizon Wireless in 2002. In the early stages of her career at AT&T Wireless, a manager took her under her wing and played a significant role in her future professional growth. Ms. Patel served as an analyst for several industry-leading corporations between 2007 and 2010, including B. Braun Medical, The Weiss Group Inc., Office Depot and Comcast. In 2011, she pivoted to information technology, working as an IT business analyst for Ascension Insurance Inc. and an IT data analyst for Akkodis. In 2012, she accepted a quality assurance and analysis role with Lexis-Nexis’ Beacon Hill Staffing Group. Ms. Patel spent six years at Hisco Inc., rising from a business data analyst to business data analytics manager in 2016 and senior business intelligence lead in 2018. At Hisco, the company’s vice president mentored her and encouraged her career goals, allowing her to reach new heights in her career. She served as customer intelligence lead at HP Inc. before joining her current employer, Thrivent, in 2023 as a senior business intelligence analyst. Over the course of her career, Ms. Patel embraced a path as a business leader with the support of her many professional and academic mentors. In the future, she hopes to assist Thrivent in transitioning from a mainframe to a more modern, relational database and further evolving the company’s technology. Born in India, she immigrated to the United States as a child and earned early accolades for her academic achievements.
