416 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine TECHNOLOGY For more than three decades, Anna Donahue has found success in diverse roles throughout the telecommunications industry. She holds a bachelor’s degree in animal science from California Polytechnic State University and initially hoped to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. At the advice of her father, Ms. Donahue decided to take a break before applying to graduate programs to explore the workforce, and in 1989, she joined McCaw Cellular Communications as a business solutions manager. Unexpectedly, Ms. Donahue found herself energized by the telecommunications industry, enjoying the challenges that came from working within an innovative emerging field. From 1991 until 1996, she served as a government account executive for US West Cellular, moving on to become a federal account manager for Bell Atlantic Nynex Mobile until 1998. That year, Ms. Donahue joined Verizon as a government account manager and added business sales management responsibilities to her role from 1999 until 2001. She continued to thrive, overseeing federal accounts for clients including the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, The U.S. National Archives and Records Administration, and the Smithsonian Institution until 2011, when she shifted to her current role as a client partner. Throughout her career, Ms. Donahue has consistently received professional accolades for her ability to create and maintain client connections, including honors from Verizon, US West Cellular, and McCaw Cellular Communications. She was named Verizon’s No. 1 client partner nationally in 2024. In 2007, she completed a Master of Business Administration at Baker University in order to advance her path as a telecommunications leader. In her personal time, Ms. Donahue enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren and is passionate about equestrian sports as an active member of the National Cutting Horse Association and the American Quarter Horse Association.
