In addition, he plays in community bands and composes music for children in pre-kindergarten dance classes to facilitate easier learning. Mr. Judd considers his greatest accomplishment to be the wonderful memories he has made over the years, which he captured in his debut book, “View from the Podium,” published in 2019. His work was featured in prominent news outlets, and he is currently anticipating the publication of his second book in 2024. Moving forward, he hopes to make his dance instruction compositions available online, as he is determined to make his work accessible to all. Inspired by his lifelong passion for arts, Edward Judd founded Creative Music Productions to assist creators and performers in sourcing quality music. He began composing as a favor to his mother, a dance teacher, and the venture went on to become a successful commercial enterprise. When the music industry transitioned from cassette tapes to CDs, he revised his approach to the company, and in 2019, he relaunched it with a new vision. Through this new approach, he strives to share over three dozen compositions for dance instruction through online platforms, fusing artistic excellence and technological innovation and marking an exciting chapter for Creative Music Productions. Mr. Judd plays the double bass and is proud to have been the principal bass player for the Lakes Region Symphony Orchestra in New Hampshire for a decade. After earning a master’s degree in music education from the University of Bridgeport, he spent 45 years teaching music in schools in roles from elementary school to college band direction until his retirement in 2021.
