64 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine PRINCIPAL Josiah Hatch LLC Denver, CO ARTS, MEDIA AND ENTERTAINMENT Crediting his success to a deep passion for journalism, Edward J. Forbes celebrates over two decades as a writer and editor. He began his academic career at St. Lawrence University, graduating with a BA in English, history and Canadian studies in 2002. In 2008, Mr. Forbes earned an MS in journalism from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. As the senior director of opinion and engagement at the USA Today Network, Mr. Forbes oversees the opinion reports and community engagement strategies for the network’s Atlantic Group newsrooms. He supervises and assists a team of contributing writers for 45 publications across 10 states, including New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and New England. Prior to his work with the USA Today Network, Mr. Forbes served as the senior director of news and engagement for the North Jersey Media Group. Moving forward, Mr. Forbes aspires to become an executive editor of a news operation in the greater New York area. He hopes to contribute to a startup effort aimed at addressing global news and is committed to continued professional growth. After graduating from Princeton University with a BA in classical and ancient studies in 1972, he attended Oxford University in the United Kingdom, earning an MA in Oxon English language in 1974. Pursuing an interest in law, he received a JD in international law and legal studies from Georgetown University Law Center in 1985. Since 2012, Mr. Hatch has excelled as the principal in international business of his own firm, Josiah Hatch LLC. Throughout his 40-year career, Mr. Hatch has worked with numerous legal firms, including Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, Greenberg Traurig LLP, and Lewis & Bess, P.C., where he served as a partner for ten years. At the University of Denver Josef Korbel School of International Studies, he taught global economic affairs from 2011 to 2024. Adjacent to his primary professional endeavors, Mr. Hatch has written numerous essays and continues to pursue his writing interests.
