He subsequently attended the Suffolk University Law School and achieved a JD in 1981. In addition to his law career, he served as a criminal justice instructor in ethics at Anna Maria College for over a decade. In light of his achievements, Mr. DiCianni is particularly proud of the work AMI has done in independent monitoring, which has been recognized for its value to the government agencies and professionals the company has worked with. To wit, AMI has helped its clients meet monitoring obligations and assisted businesses in becoming stronger and better equipped for future compliance and regulatory challenges. Mr. DiCianni is a frequent speaker on independent monitoring and proactive assessments, including with the American Bar Association. Vincent L. DiCianni has served as the president of Affiliated Monitors (AMI) since 2004. In his leadership position, he provides independent monitoring services for companies and professionals facing government scrutiny in criminal, civil and administrative matters brought by federal, state or other government agencies. For over 20 years, the company has served as the independent monitor in over 900 matters, including for companies such as Herbalife, AT&T, Verizon, Booz Allen Hamilton and many others. AMI’s health care monitoring work has included hospital mergers, nursing homes, laboratories and pharmacies. The company has also monitored matters for the United States Department of Justice, the Federal Trade Commission, the Federal Communications Commission, the Department of Transportation, and the U.S. Navy, Air Force and Army. The company also works privately with companies looking to improve their compliance programs and controls. Mr. DiCianni began his career as the assistant attorney general for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 1981, remaining in the position for five years.
