Women of Dominion International began with a women’s group Ms. Green led that aided women in need of emotional and mental healing. The group transformed into leading the participants on a journey of purpose, assisting them in discovering their true calling through a ninemonth training program. This training program evolved into Women of Dominion International, which was officially established in 2010. As the organization’s leader, Ms. Green developed the training modules utilized by the company. Furthermore, she created separate training materials for women interested in mission work, focusing on preparing for missions and the challenges of working in mission fields. As part of her vocational journey, Ms. Green pursued a formal education, earning an AAS, summa cum laude, at the Community College of Baltimore County in 2017 and an MA in psychology at Adler University in 2024, specializing in military psychology. She also holds a BS in gerontology from Towson University and a bachelor’s degree in biblical counseling from Christian Bible College and Seminary. Having worked with veterans in the past, she established the Baltimore, Maryland, chapter of The National Association for Black Veterans. The mayor recognized her accomplishment, declaring February 11 “National Association for Black Veterans Day” in her honor. Moving forward, Ms. Green aims to complete a PhD in trauma disaster relief. She is interested in working with the Federal Emergency Management Agency and strives to establish a formal training center for Women of Dominion International. In the coming years, she also plans to complete the construction of an orphanage in Côte d’Ivoire and expand her organization’s training program overseas. Tonya Deneen Green is the founder and chief executive officer of Women of Dominion International LLC. The global organization provides counseling and education to women and prepares them for missions in Africa and India.
