Williams is a strategic consultant with expertise in information systems and a varied professional background. Inspired by her family’s military history, she served in the United States Army from 1983 to 1986, specializing in missile and munition systems. In this role, Ms. Williams focused on maintaining and troubleshooting crucial equipment for the Army’s infrared systems, oscilloscopes, multimeters and other essential tools. After leaving the military and spending a year as a deputy sheriff in New Orleans, Ms. Williams began working as a protection officer at the Federal Reserve Bank in 1988. Across nearly 15 years working for the Federal Reserve in Los Angeles and Lawrence, Texas, she rose to become a business continuity contingency planner. Continuing a career as a business continuity management consultant, Ms. Williams worked for Kaiser Permanente and Randstad Technologies USA. Since 2022, she has served as the senior specialist in regional business continuity at West Pharmaceutical Services, a company that specializes in producing packaging components and delivery systems for injectable drugs and other health care products. In her position at West Pharmaceutical Services, Ms. Williams identifies the company’s internal and external risks and creates business continuity plans for potential risks such as COVID-19 and disasters both human-made and natural. Alongside her many years of experience, she holds a bachelor’s degree in information systems from the University of Phoenix and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. In recognition of her professional achievements, Ms. Williams was named Woman of the Year by the National Association of Professional Women in 2015. Realizing her capability for leadership and an opportunity to set her own working standards, Ms. Williams found herself drawn to entrepreneurship and created Williams LLC. In the coming years, she envisions that company growing significantly. To further this vision, Ms. Williams joined the coaching group Cut Class to refine her entrepreneurial skills.
