211 Millennium - Eighteenth Edition FINANCE AND INSURANCE For 43 years, Edward J. Fellin has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to excellence in finance and accounting. He began his journey into the field at DePaul University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting in 1980. After graduating, he remained at the school as an adjunct instructor for 12 years before going on to spend another 12 years as adjunct faculty at Columbia College Chicago. Since 2014, he has served as the senior tax director at RSM US LLP, leading a team and leveraging his expertise to mentor others and develop new business opportunities. Mr. Fellin takes great pride in establishing the Edward J. Fellin, CPA Endowed Scholarship at DePaul University. The scholarship, created in 2015, offers valuable financial support to student athletes majoring in accountancy at DePaul University. As the first member of his family to attend college, Mr. Fellin places high importance on education, and he established the scholarship to provide students like him with the support they need to accomplish their academic and professional goals. Mr. Fellin’s other accomplishments include successfully managing a business relationship valued at $3 billion during his decade-long tenure as vice president and head of tax practice at Credit Suisse. Subsequently, he transitioned this relationship to RSM US LLP, where he continued to oversee it for an additional seven years. He considers maintaining the same relationship for 17 years across two distinct organizations to be an exceptional and rare achievement. In the future, Mr. Fellin hopes to facilitate the advancement and success of his team at RSM US LLP. Over the past three years, he has effectively encouraged the promotion of four individuals, underscoring the significance he places on their professional growth and development.
