330 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine LAW AND LAW ENFORCEMENT Eleanor M. L. Shotton, Esq., is a rising expert in the field of law. Having operated within the industry since 2019, she primarily operates as an attorney, specializing in assisting hospitality industry clients, including restaurants, bars, clubs and hotels. Since early 2024, she has served as an associate attorney at Pesetsky & Bookman, PC, where she excels in aiding her clients in securing and reinstating liquor licenses and defending alleged violations. Likewise, she oversees regulatory functions, including reviews of financial documents, site plans and applications, and attending community and licensing board meetings on behalf of her clients. As part of her vocational journey, Ms. Shotton cultivated her higher education. She first attended Syracuse University, where she earned a BA in anthropology, magna cum laude, in 2016. She subsequently continued her studies at Brooklyn Law School and ultimately achieved a JD in 2019. In addition to her academic credentials, she holds a certification in legal research from LexisNexis, which she received in 2016. While still in law school, Ms. Shotton was a marshal for the Honorable Judge Christopher Kinch QC of Woolwich Crown Court. After being admitted to practice law, she became a staff attorney for the Legal Aid Society of Suffolk County, where she worked from 2019 to 2023. During pandemic-related shutdowns, she worked remotely with clients on pre-trial proceedings. She continued to work in criminal defense in private practice as a senior associate of the Ramcharitar Law Firm between 2023 and 2024. Outside her work with Pesetsky & Bookman, PC, Ms. Shotton provides pro bono legal work and remains active as a civic-minded volunteer for several human services charities in her region.
