Boasting a two-decade career in law, Vivian M. Williams balances a teaching career at the Baruch College Zicklin School of Business with an active career in law. Since 2004, he has been an attorney and president of VMW Law, where he aids clients by utilizing his skills in a variety of legal disciplines, including economics, business and crisis management, with a particular focus on minimizing risk and optimizing available opportunities. Originally from Guyana, Mr. Williams began his career as a teacher and taught for several years before becoming a journalist. During his time working in journalism, he pioneered a television newscast in Georgetown, the capital city of Guyana, with a group of volunteers. After immigrating to the United States in 2002, he decided to pursue a career in law. Prior to beginning his legal career, Mr. Williams pursued a higher education, earning a Master of Laws in intellectual property at the Yeshiva University Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
