Looking to the future, Dr. Chin plans to focus on continuing to design functional medical devices, ensuring each device’s effectiveness. He is actively involved in the development process at each of his companies and is committed to creating prototypes, conducting rigorous bench testing, and ensuring the functionality of each device. In his spare time, he still enjoys listening to and playing music. over 3 million patients for endoscopic vein harvesting in coronary bypass surgery. Dr. Chin remained with Guidant Cardiac Surgery until 2007, when it became Boston Scientific Cardiac Surgery, where he served as chief innovation officer. He went on to found multiple medical companies, including Pavilion Medical Innovations, Cruzar Medsystems Inc. and nVision Medical Inc. In 2022, he co-founded his current project, PercAssist Inc., where he serves as the chief innovation officer, designing a new life-saving technology, which he considers to be the pinnacle of his career. In addition, he is a co-founder and chief innovation officer at TAS Medical, FemDx Medsystems and Orare Medsystems. For his work, Dr. Chin has received many accolades, including the Invented Here!
