He is passionate about bridging the gap between technological innovation and business goals within the realm of biotechnology. After earning an MS in organic chemistry at Andhra University in India, Dr. Boppudi began his career as a chemistry teacher. While working toward a PhD in organic chemistry at Sri Venkateswara University in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India, he divided his time between his studies and teaching at Sri Mukund Degree College, Dr. AER Degree College, Krishna Teja Degree College, Balaji Women Degree College and SEICOM Degree College. Likewise, he mentored students and inspired others to pursue careers in science. After receiving his doctorate in 2007, Dr. Boppudi transitioned from teaching to research, gaining prominence as a research scientist with 24 publications in various academic fields, including organic chemistry, chemical engineering and surgery. His work continues to influence both theoretical and practical aspects of science, making him a leader in efforts to advance medical science through rigorous research and interdisciplinary collaboration. Dr. Boppudi also completed multiple postdoctoral fellowships at various institutions, including McGill University in Montreal, Canada; the University of Porto in Porto, Portugal; and National Cheng Kung University in Tainan, Taiwan. In 2016, Dr. Boppudi immigrated to the United States and shifted his focus toward information technology (IT). As a solutions architect in the cloud, he has mastered the design and implementation of robust, scalable infrastructures tailored to the unique needs of health care organizations. He has served as the principal cloud architect at Amgen since 2022, working to automate and streamline operations while enhancing the speed and reliability of IT systems. Dr. Boppudi’s dedication to improving health care through technological advancements is a testament to his commitment to making meaningful contributions to society. Looking ahead, he envisions further growth in cloud technology, and he aims to introduce a more comprehensive integration of modern IT solutions with health care needs.
