With three decades of experience to his credit, Daniel “Kowalski” Reynolds Cahoon is an expert in artificial intelligence (AI) and linguistic and semantic architecture. Since 2024, he has operated as the founder of Liminality, a pioneering business focused on innovative interdisciplinary research and exploring the frontiers of cognition, AI and cultural evolution. The company’s mission is to redefine intelligence, foster collaboration and address complex global challenges. Mr. Cahoon is also a founder and managing member of Hoodalalee LLC as of 2022. Additionally, since 2021, he has served as the principal of enterprise architecture, platform architecture and business development at H&R Block, where he recently implemented new AI technology using IBM Watson and was subsequently awarded a patent for a new AI training interface. Previously, Mr. Cahoon was the director of enterprise architecture at H&R Block from 2017 to 2021. Within the same organization, he was also a principal architect from 2009 to 2017 and an architect from 2002 to 2009. His early career was marked by significant roles at T-Mobile USA Inc., formerly Sprint, where he worked as a technical lead developer, data analyst, and operations manager from 1990 to 2002.
