He views his role as that of a utility player, providing support when needed and promoting the well-being of future colleagues. Mr. Polk received his education at Mississippi State University, graduating with a BS in psychology in 2011 and an MS in clinical mental health counseling in 2016. He began his career at an alcohol and drug treatment center before joining a community counseling organization, where he worked with diverse cases and developed his expertise. Since 2017, he has worked with the University of Mississippi Medical Center, beginning as a pharmacy technician and rising to his current position in 2024. Moving forward, Mr. Polk aims to expand the programs offered by the medical center to provide increased counseling services and better student access. Likewise, he plans to remain at the University of Mississippi Medical Center to explore his potential for growth and development. Since 2016, Ruchi Mitter has served as the associate director of EY, a global leader in assurance, consulting, strategy, transactions and tax services. Furthermore, she recently joined CVS in 2022. As part of a unit supporting Medicaid, she finds her greatest motivation in helping society’s most vulnerable individuals. Knowing her work makes a tangible difference in the lives of others drives Ms. Mitter to produce timely and accurate data. Likewise, she believes true accomplishment lies in adding value to society and making a positive impact. She remains inspired to create fruitful systems that benefit those they serve. In the coming years, Ms. Mitter strives to empower CVS to leverage modern technology. She hopes to create value for underserved populations, particularly those served by Medicaid, and she is currently involved in transitioning the company to a cloud-based system. She is a co-author of “Improving Operational Performance,” presented at the IBM Pulse Conference. Ms. Mitter holds a BBA from the University of Delhi and an MBA from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad.
