Carol C. Wright’s passion for the health care industry was ignited by the influence of her mother, a health care professional. She has operated alongside the team at Regency Retirement Village since 2019, where she leads a team of six directors and oversees the community’s daily operations. Ms. Wright has otherwise served as a registered nurse for over two decades. Ms. Wright is well-regarded for her determination and optimism. In the face of the challenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, she maintained her belief in the power of humanity and continued to provide quality care to the senior community. Her efforts won her the Best in Jackson Award in 2023. Looking ahead, Ms. Wright aims to continue sharing her compassion in the hope of inspiring others to realize the impact they can have by showing care for seniors. During the COVID-19 pandemic, this became particularly significant to her as some residents lacked family support, and the staff became like a family to them. She is committed to providing comfort and reassurance to senior residents and ensuring the staff are well-equipped to handle any eventuality. CAROL C. WRIGHT
