In recognition of his exemplary work, he won the Outstanding Young Security Professional Award at the Outstanding Security Performance Awards in 2023 and was named one of the Top 40 Global Thought Leaders in Safety and Security for 2024 by the Life Safety Alliance. He is dedicated to refining his expertise in protection and aims to enhance his skills, improving both himself and his services to clients. From childhood, Matthew M. Porcelli felt called to protect and serve others. This calling led him to pursue a career in law enforcement, and he studied criminal justice at Caldwell University. After graduating with a BA in criminal justice in 2007, he began volunteering as an auxiliary police lieutenant for the Roseland Police Department, assisting with various law enforcement responsibilities. Additionally, Mr. Porcelli served as a police and 911 dispatcher with the Maplewood Police Department in the same county. Realizing that law enforcement was not his ultimate path but still seeking to preserve the safety and security of others, Mr. Porcelli explored opportunities in the private security sector to better envelope himself in his passion. In 2009, he joined a global security service provider as a security officer and quickly excelled to the rank of supervisor. During this time, he earned an MS in administration of justice and security from the University of Phoenix.
