In 1980, she completed a legal secretary diploma through City College Norwich, and in 1986, she subsequently achieved a Bachelor of Laws at the University of East London. As one of the top voices in her profession, Ms. Sandbrook has held leadership positions with the High Court Enforcement Officers Association, the Law Society of England and Wales, and the Chartered Institute of Credit Management. She has continued her work in the United States since 2011. Looking ahead, she hopes to evolve Shergroup’s scope into a consulting firm with a strong service component. Claire Sandbrook celebrates nearly 45 years of expertise in law and law enforcement. Utilizing her vast experience, she operates as the founder and chief executive officer of Shergroup, a firm providing sheriff, legal and business enforcement services to clients throughout England and Wales. Ever committed to defending the unique responsibilities of the United Kingdom’s sheriff system, Ms. Sandbrook quickly became involved in policy-making decisions early in her career. In 2004, she created Shergroup to help better execute this work. Since the founding of her company, she has continued to speak and write on global security, financial security and enforcement, Adjacent to her primary duties, Ms. Sandbrook served as vice chair of the Institute of Credit Management in 2010. She began her career as a typist for Burchell & Ruston Limited, a role that subsequently evolved into a clerkship while she completed her law school coursework.
