Likewise, he continues to share his expertise through occasional teaching opportunities, finding joy in empowering others to think independently and engage with diverse perspectives. Looking ahead, Dr. Loh remains dedicated to contributing to the community through volunteer work, particularly in the academic and athletic domains. At the age of 77, he maintains his active involvement in various initiatives and aims to continue positively impacting the larger community in the coming years. As part of his engagement with volunteer work, he hopes to serve on committees and participate in community and professional activities. Today, Dr. Loh is extremely grateful to his mentors, whose guidance and support have been instrumental in shaping his successful career. Reflecting on his accomplishments, he is particularly proud of his time as a dedicated faculty member at the University of Washington. As a professor, he was highly respected and received various recognitions, but of all the accolades he received, being repeatedly chosen as an outstanding professor by his students was especially meaningful. Other accolades to his credit include a 2018 Visionary Award from the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce and a 2018 First Citizen Award from the Maryland Senate.
