48 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine Dr. Damian Nesser celebrates over 30 years in education, including nearly two decades as a classroom teacher and long service as a school dean and counselor. Since 2021, he has helped clients as a life coach with Life Design Coaching. In honor of his parents, he established the Life is a Classroom Foundation, which supports churches and schools through various initiatives and hosts the “Life is a Classroom” podcast. In addition to his many years of experience, Dr. Nesser holds a DBA from Argosy University. He is an avid writer, publishing “Bloom Where You Are: Thrive, Nurture and Grow When The Odds Are Against You” in 2024. The book chronicles his personal journey as a home health care aide to his mother, who suffered from vascular dementia. Looking to the future, Dr. Nesser aims to conclude his 20-year career with the Manatee County School District to transition into full-time work as a life coach, speaker and content creator. He plans to expand the Life is a Classroom Foundation’s philanthropic efforts and seeks to grow into a globally acknowledged speaker. Langley Jr. is the director of strategic enrollment initiatives and recruiting, a debate coach, and an adjunct instructor at Bossier Parish Community College, where he has been a staff member since 2017. He is responsible for working with community partners and school departments to create and execute programs designed to boost enrollment and educational accessibility. Under Mr. Langley’s leadership, the school has seen tremendous gains, including a 20% increase in enrollment spanning seven semesters, as well as numerous national, state and tournament awards for the school debate team. In recognition of his coaching work, he received the 2022 International Public Debate Association Coach of the Year Award, an honor he considers one of the highlights of his career. In the coming years, Mr. Langley looks forward to continuing his work in education. As part of his work in the field, he hopes to make an impact nationally as an advocate for greater educational attainment and college accessibility, especially among non-traditional students of color.
