He took over the company in 2022, driven by a core team of employees recruited from his previous banking team. As the owner and president of Premier Settlements, Mr. Lafferty leads all personnel, handles long-range planning tasks, and oversees all closings, financial management and compliance functions. Since assuming control of the company, he has seen business triple. Adjacent to his primary endeavors, he launched Premier Select Realty in 2024. The real estate brokerage offers valuable alternatives for real estate professionals in the region. A talented athlete and competitive soccer player, Mr. Lafferty attended Gordon College at the onset of his vocational journey, where he ultimately earned a bachelor’s degree in business and finance in 2009. During his time as a student, he began his career by joining the Fulton Financial Corporation in 2007. Between then and 2016, he rose to become the manager of one of the company’s largest branches, where he developed the financial and customer service acumen that would become the foundation of his career. Accounting for his many accomplishments, Mr. Lafferty credits his success to the support and example of his parents. To wit, he constantly strives to give back to the community through fair employment, housing initiatives and his newest project, a sober living facility. In the coming years, he aims to continue expanding his business by venturing into mortgage and homeowners insurance, along with further initiatives that empower his employees.
