Looking ahead, Mr. Allen hopes to open a facility named the L.I.V.E. Spiritual Center, which will provide a comprehensive 12-month program to assist unhoused veterans. This initiative will welcome 10 participants, each with a tiny home and the opportunity to complete a structured program focusing on four key areas: purpose, values, forgiveness and establishing healthy boundaries. Through a holistic approach, the program allows veterans to process past experiences and reconnect with family and friends while building a supportive community. As a board-certified mental health chaplain clinician, Chaplain Anthony D. Allen specializes in helping military veterans with war-related trauma. Before starting Christ and Counseling 2 Consulting LLC in 2024, he served in the United States Army and Army Reserves for 27 years as both an enlisted soldier and commissioned officer. A two-time combat veteran, he retired as an Army chaplain in 2015. Following his military retirement, he continued serving as a chaplain in the federal criminal and Veteran Affairs health care systems. Mr. Allen currently operates as the vice president of the C.H. Mason Theological Seminary Alumni Association Inc. and as a pastor of the Tribe of Judah Church of God in Christ. Mr. Allen earned an MDiv at the Interdenominational Theological Center and a BS in business management at Friends University. He also achieved a doctorate in counseling and psychological studies, focusing on human service counseling, at Regent University in early 2025. His dissertation focused on the development of the S.H.I.N.E. Program, which represents a critical step in bridging the gap between faithbased practices and evidence-based mental health care within the African American Pentecostal COGIC community.
