Pensacola, FL RICHARD “RICHIE” MCHALE Richard “Richie” McHale is an award-winning critical care flight nurse with three decades of experience to his credit. Since 2024, he has served as the director of emergency medical services at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pennsylvania, overseeing all emergency services, including a team of paramedics and flight nurses, to ensure that patients receive high-quality care and that the department can serve the community to its fullest ability. As a part of this expansion, Mr. McHale has created EMT pre-licensure programs for high school students to nurture the profession's future. Prior to taking on his current role, Mr. McHale spent 25 years as a flight nurse manager for Geisinger Life Flight, building on a paramedical career that began in 1995. His career triumphs include setting up a fully functional medical flight base in just 60 days. Wellstudied in his field, he holds and a Master of Science in Nursing, along with several pertinent nursing certifications, and he looks forward to obtaining a Master of Business Administration. Mr. McHale’s ultimate goal is to create a no-premium health plan for children. Dr. Bonnie McLean has cultivated a fulfilling career in the field of nursing. She began her journey into the health care industry during her childhood, having been influenced by her father, a physician, and her mother, a nurse. To wit, she was inspired to dedicate her life to helping others. At the onset of her career, Dr. McLean earned a BSN at Duke University in 1967 before entering the industry proper. She subsequently earned a master’s degree in counseling at Pepperdine University in 1977. After operating in the field for two decades, she continued her studies at the California Acupuncture College, where she achieved an OMD in 1986. Since completing her education, Dr. McLean has practiced integrative medicine and acupuncture, connecting her extensive nursing background and counseling skills to her holistic practice. She finds great fulfillment in her work and remains passionate about helping others and embracing the journey of learning and growth in her profession. In her creative endeavors, she has published chapters in four books, including “From Mayhem to Miracles,” “Signs,” “Shamanism” and “From Crappy to Happy.” BONNIE MCLEAN, OMD
