From a young age, she aimed to pursue a career in health care, receiving her first microscope for Christmas when she was five. This sparked a passion for science, which shaped her early life and career. As a teenager, she volunteered in a geriatrics ward and went on to work weekends in hematology, laying the foundation for her career in clinical laboratory science. After graduating high school, Ms. Greenberg attended Central Connecticut State University, graduating in 1974 with a bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry. Continuing her education at Long Island University, she earned a Master of Science in clinical laboratory science in 1980. Ms. Greenberg spent 30 years working at various prestigious institutions, such as the NYU Langone Medical Center and the Bellevue Hospital Center, where she managed the pediatric laboratory. As her career progressed, she advanced to a position as a laboratory manager and spearheaded the creation of a fully operational outpatient lab in just six weeks. Ms. Greenberg’s career took an unexpected turn when she began a consulting role with the United States Navy. In 1980, she developed a comprehensive 4,000-page training manual for a fighter jet team. Later, she transitioned into information technology (IT) when her husband’s company offered her a role that merged her laboratory expertise with IT skills, focusing on laboratory implementation and related projects. Prior to her retirement in 2023, Ms. Greenberg served as a senior business systems analyst with Gainwell Technologies LLC. Additionally, she was the owner and lead manager of Senex Associates from 2017 to 2022. In the coming years, she strives to return to the laboratory to further enhance her health care contributions. Until then, she will enjoy her retirement with her husband of 42 years and their two dogs. This product was later applied to colored concrete with great results. At the onset of his career, Mr. Glaser honorably served in the United States Air Force from 1978 to 1982. Following his military service, he subsequently began working in the oil and gas industry.
